Celery Juice – Day 2

Well, I can honestly say I didn’t wake up craving celery juice. To be totally honest, I wanted to shuck it for a nice, tall, ice cold Dr. Pepper, my vice. I did not.

So as far as effects experienced on day 1 – well, none that made me shout, CELERY JUICE IS A MIRACLE. Of course, I’ve only got one day under my belt. If you are looking  to lose water weight, chug down 16 ounces of celery juice in the morning. I’m not sure if it is the celery juice that made me pee ALL DAY or the fact that I started the day with 16 ounces of fluid. I’m not very good at drinking the amount of water “we” are supposed to throughout the day. It could be that my kidneys were like, ‘HOLY CRAP – finally hydration! Lets’ flush these babies out!” I weigh daily. I know, I know, you don’t have to tell me. Anywho, I’m down two pounds from yesterday morning. All water weight I can assure you.

I read that the juice would have a laxative effect. I didn’t experience that, YET.

Inflammation, aches and pains were ramped up yesterday due to barometric pressure fluctuations throughout the day so I’m not going to expound further on inflammation and pain until I have several days of celery juice chugging under my belt.

Noteworthy is that I wasn’t hungry until about 3 o’clock yesterday afternoon. I’m not sure if this was because I had such a horrible headache or if I should contribute it the juice. We’ll have to see as the month goes on.

Sidenotes, I am out of celery! My books will be here tomorrow!!!

If you have decided to join me on this journey, I would love to hear from you. What are you targeting? What are you feeling?

Keep it wonky,
