Celery Juice Cleanse – Day 9!
So, with 8 days under my belt, I have to tell you I’ve had two full nights sleep, although not back to back, I’ve slept TWO FULL NIGHTS since I started the cleanse. I have no idea if the celery juice is the driving factor but I haven’t slept more than four hours in a night for as long as I can remember. The only other contributing factor could be my new Yoga practice. Down Dog and TadasaWHAT?
I do feel like I have more energy.
Bloating is still under control.
My skin is “purty.” Glowing and juicy.
So far, I haven’t noticed a difference in inflammation. I’m still hopeful.
I’ve been asked if I use the leaves of the celery when I make my juice. I do.
Some have asked if I am dieting while on the cleanse. I am not on a diet. I’m trying to eat more fruits and veggies. I’ve been juicing. I’m growing microgreens. They are delicious and full of nutrients! I’m trying to avoid processed foods. (That didn’t play out when I inhaled that Whataburger Sunday!) I do drink one Dr. Pepper a day. I am gearing up to give it up completely. I gave it up for a year a while back, I know I can do it.
Last night, I received a text from an individual who has been doing the cleanse for four days. She started the cleanse in hopes of ridding some gastrointestinal issues, such as constipation. The text read, “I have pooped so many times today! And they are normal poops! So exciting!” I can’t tell you how happy this made me. If you have gastro issues, what do you have to lose?
