Celery Juice Cleanse – Day 13

Howdy and happy Saturday y’all! Here I am with 12 days of my celery juice cleanse behind me. In today’s blog post you will find: a comprehensive list of the benefits I’ve experienced thus far,  my honest opinion of the juice almost half-way in and a list of the benefits of celery juice per Anthony Williams from his book, Celery Juice – The Most Powerful Medicine Of Our Time – Healing Millions Worldwide. 

Personal Benefits: 

  • Bloating – in check!
  • Healthier looking skin!
  • Appetite suppressed until lunchtime!
  • Increased energy!
  • Minimal relief from insomnia! (The jury is out this one.)
  • Down 4 pounds!

My Honest Opinion so far: 

Are the benefits that I am experiencing from the celery juice or something else? Since drinking the juice I have been making better choices regarding food and drink. I’m on day four of NO DR PEPPER! I have been drinking more water and I haven’t been snacking as much. Obviously, all of those things minus the celery juice would make my body change inside and out.

Drinking the juice when I wake up gets me in the right mindset. I want to eat better. I’ll give the green juice total credit for that!

I’m still waiting to see a difference in inflammation. That is the main reason I started this cleanse. Over the course of 12 days, I’ve felt less tight overall and my hands haven’t felt as puffy and tight inside. Again, the juice or the increased water intake? My neck and back of my head around my scar from the three surgeries are still so tight. Some days better than others. More tight and inflammed than not.

I’m going to keep drinking it for the remainder of the 30 days and go from there. I am looking forward to the veggie and fruit cleanse I embark on  next.
